What to do if your games console is stolen

Secure the platform account
Use the official PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo account tools to review sessions, credentials and purchases.
Gather the console serial
Use the console’s manufacturer serial from packaging, receipts or prior records. A controller identifier is different.
Report the physical device
Keep incident details and ownership evidence. Reporting hardware does not recover a platform account or remotely block the console.
