Understand what you share and who can see it.
Information collected
Reports contain device identifiers, incident details, contact information, ownership explanations and evidence. Sightings contain location, a message and contact phone. Contact requests contain the details you enter.
Public and private information
Approved loss or theft reports show the consented contact details and general incident area to people checking the matching device. Pending reports, evidence, sightings and support messages are private to authorised administrators. There is no public report directory.
Storage and browser data
Records and private evidence are stored on our hosting server. Check history is kept in your browser session. Saved report URLs contain dated snapshots and can be read by anyone with the unguessable link; they do not include owner contacts. Necessary security cookies protect forms and administrator sessions. No advertising or analytics service is connected.
Corrections and retention
Records are retained for reports, review, disputes and corrections. Use the contact form for a privacy or removal request; a reviewer may need evidence before changing records. We do not offer automatic deletion or email/SMS notifications.
Share only what is needed
Use a general area rather than a home address. Redact unrelated identity, payment and account information from evidence. Get permission for any alternate contact you supply.
